Tony Taj’s artistic approach to the QR code

Every week, I see new uses for the soon to be ubiquitous QR code. Many use cases fail to deliver on the QR code’s capabilities. A few are simply superb in execution and results. And occasionally I see use cases that incorporate designer QR codes where a logo or other design is ‘woven’ into the QR code block without affecting the readability.

Tony Taj has taken a step aside with his use of the QR code. His attractive cityscapes incorporate QR codes that tell a story when you scan them. But don’t let me spoil this story of a great melding of art and business – Tony does a much better job in his short video below. Perhaps like me, while viewing the video,  you might experience a lot more life in one of his cityscapes than Tony imagined – or maybe he did imagine.
